Sprouts Program
Sprouts @ ECWPA
~ Grow into Homeschool~
ECWPA is proud to present our Sprouts program for families who know they want to homeschool, but whose children are not yet of the required school age. Having a supportive community is such an important component of a homeschool journey, and you and your child shouldn't miss out on that simply because your child isn't of compulsory age yet. This is not a drop off program.
Costs and Requirements: There are 2 different fees associated to this program.
- Annual Dues: These are paid once per school year, and go to cover our insurances and our digital community access. For our sprouts program, it is $30. If you have questions about these fees, please check out this page for more information.
- Semester Fees: Because our Sprouts program offerings are more limited than that of our school aged students, we have reduced the semester fees to $30 to reflect the 1 weekly period available for our Sprouts instead of the 5 periods available to our school aged children. Our semester fee goes to support our resources closet of consumables that can be used for classes. Items like crayons, paints, construction paper, etc, as well as cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Clearances: All adults that will be on our premesis are required to submit their clearance paperwork. For more information on what is required and how to get them, click here.
- Attendance: This is not a drop off program. You will stay on site while your child is participating.
What Do I Get?
- Access to 1 class each Friday during our semester. It will be 3rd period (11am-11:55am).
- Stay for lunch! Immediately following our 3rd period class is our lunch hour. Join us in the cafeteria and chat with other moms, build community and let your child practice their table manners outside their family!
- The ability to sign up for field trips and activities that are organized with ECWPA
- Access to our curriculum library
- Access to our Inter Co-Op Forum. This is perfect for asking questions, seeing if others have curriculum you're considering and get their opinions on it (or even ask if they'd let you take a look at it while at E-Day one week)
- Come for our community center events
- Open House. At the end of each semester, ECWPA offers an open house where friends and family can come see what your kids have been doing this season. There will be performances, and displays.
- Mentor Night. At least once per semester a mentor night will be offered. Come chat with a seasoned homeschooler who can help answer your questions and calm any doubts you have in your ability to teach your kids. You can do it!
